Delete your Lister account

This page explains how to delete your account on Lister (the Lister app on Google Play and getlister.in) and the data linked to it, or how to delete only some of your data while keeping your account.

Delete your account in the app

1. Open the Lister app and log in.
2. Go to Profile.
3. Tap Delete Account and confirm.

Delete your account on the website

1. Log in at getlister.in.
2. Open your profile menu.
3. Click Delete Account and confirm. You may be asked for a one-time code sent to your phone.

Can't log in? Request deletion by email

Email listersupport@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my account", from the email address registered on your account, or include the phone number you signed up with. We may ask you to confirm the request before deleting. We process requests within 7 days.

What is deleted

When your account is deleted, we permanently remove:

• your profile: name, email address, phone number, address and photo
• your ads, with their photos and videos
• your chats and messages, including voice messages
• your favourites, reviews, notifications and package purchase records

Deletion is immediate and can't be undone. Copies in our server backups are overwritten within 30 days. Payment records may be kept where the law requires it.

Delete some data without deleting your account

• Ads: open My Ads, choose the ad and delete it. Its photos and videos are deleted with it.
• Chats: in Chat, delete a conversation or individual messages.
• Profile details: edit or clear them in Profile.
• Anything else: email listersupport@gmail.com and tell us what you want removed. We reply within 7 days.
